As most of the RV developments include heavy underground utility and groundwork the coordination of these elements with the pad layout, topography and ordinances takes thoughtful and creative design practices. Civil design includes drainage studies, detention design, platting, easement preparation, storm water quality and pollution prevention among others. MEP engineers focus heavily on design for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection systems, and access control. Lastly, structural engineers are a key part of the team that heavily focuses on the trusses, foundational supports and wind requirements of everything from covered spaces to clubhouses.
